In a Montessori classroom, each child is viewed as an individual. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that children learn best by doing, not by passively accepting other people’s ideas and pre-existing knowledge. A child in our Primary program (ages 3-6) will be inspired in many different areas of growth.
We present materials to the whole child. Multi-age classrooms allow the children at various stages of 3-6 years old development to learn from and with each other. Children in this age group are drawn to be independent strong learners while developing strong social and leadership qualities.
